On 1st March Wales Air Ambulance celebrated it’s tenth birthday. The charity is a vital service for those facing life-threatening illness or injuries who either live in an isolated area of Wales or need to get to a hospital faster than a road ambulance can take them. Wales Air Ambulance operates three helicopters that can reach any area of Wales within 20 minutes. The charity is funded entirely by the people of Wales.

Wales Air Ambulance marked this milestone with an event at Margam Park - all three helicopters flew from their various locations across Wales to land together in front of a crowd of supporters, media and enthusiasts who were then able to explore the aircraft and meet the crew.
